Laura is a dedicated Graduate Occupational Therapist committed to helping individuals achieve their fullest potential. She values the unique strengths and perspectives of each client, considering them essential for fostering growth and well-being in every aspect of life. Laura believes that children and families are experts in their own experiences and strives to build collaborative partnerships that honour their insights. With a special interest in sensory and behavioural challenges, she is enthusiastic about broadening her expertise through diverse clinical experiences. Laura holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science from the University of Sydney, where she majored in psychology and pursued studies in disability, youth studies, human development, and education. She then completed a Master of Health Communication with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, public health, and art therapy. Most recently, Laura has completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from University College Copenhagen where she is hoping she can apply her knowledge of evidence-based practice from a Scandinavian healthcare perspective in her professional practice at Kids First OT. With her interdisciplinary background, Laura brings a holistic, informed perspective to occupational therapy, aiming to support children and families as they reach their goals. |  |
